About Me

Hi! I am WANG Yifan, an incoming PhD student at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), starting Fall 2026, under the supervision of Prof. Chen Qifeng.

I am honored to be awarded the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS), a prestigious fellowship fully funded by the Hong Kong government.

I am currently a final-year undergraduate at HKUST, majoring in Data Science and Technology (AI focus), ranked Top 2nd out of 45 students in the program. My research interests lie in generative models, especially human motion generation, video generation, and multimodal learning.

I have been fortunate to work with Prof. Chi-Keung Tang, Prof. Yu-Wing Tai (HKUST), and Prof. Alexandre Alahi (EPFL).
